Urban outfitters are just like the local guy on the train, except they are more like a hairdresser with a full-on wardrobe. A hip guy has a wide wardrobe, and the hip guy gets all weird.
A typical suburban outfitter is a guy like me, who wears a wide-wale corduroy jacket, plaid slacks, and a wide-brimmed hat. They usually have a leather belt and tie, and their hair tends toward a “curl” or “halo” style. Their hair can be spiked or parted down the middle, and they wear black tights to show off their legs.
It was the most common term used by shopkeepers in a store to describe their customers, and some of the more exotic names, such as a barista and a restaurant chef in London, have made it into our dictionary. The most frequently used term is “a barista” (which I’ll call you, “a chef”), and it means you’re a barista.
They don’t have much of a name, so we need to know what they’re doing. In an episode of the hit podcast “Dancing With the Stars” the first guest was Benji (played by Jeff Lynan), a waiter who went by the nickname “Benji”, as in the character’s dad.
This should not be a surprise as it is a show about a series of baristas who get together to talk about what they do and eat. We asked Benji what it was like to be in his position, and he said that it was like being a waiter: He had a job and he had to do it. He had to serve people and he had to serve his friends.
Now for the second part. The show is basically a series of baristas talking about nothing in particular. As such, Benji can be a strange character, but he is the only one who has his own ideas and thoughts, as opposed to just going off on tangents. Also, he’s not just a waiter, he’s a barista. So Benji can be a bit of a weirdo.
