It depends on where you live, your area of expertise, how much you are paid, and how many children you are caring for.
As I write this, I’m trying to figure out what the average child care worker is making in America. I see that people are earning 4,000 a week, which is a pretty good wage, so I think it is a good wage to be making. I also see that people are being paid between $18 and $25 an hour. That is less than half of what my wife makes in a year.
Maybe it is a good wage, but if you are making a good wage it is not the same as a good wage for your wife. You can make a good wage, but it is not the same as a good wage for your wife. If you are doing the job that you love, you are not getting paid the same as your wife.

For example, I worked as a child care worker many years ago and I know of people who are employed as a part-time babysitter now. Not everyone can get a full-time job like that, but you can still make a decent income if you can find something that pays well enough to cover your bills.
