MGA is a professional organization that serves Michigan government employees. We are the voice of the thousands of MGA members who are employed by government in Michigan. We represent them in the Michigan government finance department. We have a website, a Facebook page, an IRC channel, and the MGA Facebook Group.
This is a pretty simple statement, but it’s important to note that MGA isn’t just another government association. We are a professional organization of employees who represent government employees. We also represent the thousands of people who work for the private sector. We work to advance opportunities for the people who work for government.
Michigan. We are a little different than the other government finance associations out there. We have a lot of government officials who just want to get a new job, not be on the inside of how our government is run. These people are not interested in being on the inside. We are the government’s own finance department. We do not represent private industry.
The MFIAs main purpose is to make sure that the work of the government remains transparent. We help companies hire people who are in line with the transparency policy. We also help companies hire people who are not in line with the transparency policy. We do not represent, or even work in the business of government. Our sole interest is to help companies hire people who are both in line with the transparency policy and in line with the business of government.
If you’re ever in a negotiation with the government, this is a good place to start. MFIAs don’t work for the government. We work for the government.
We are a group of people who work for the government, who are not politicians. We have a few very good examples of government employees in all sorts of positions.
