This is probably my least favorite of all the benlysta reviews (though I can’t honestly give them all away yet haha). This is a review about benlysta’s self-injection pump, which is great for painless injections, but I think the review is a bit light on the whole “what is this thing” and “how many of these do I need to use”.
It is basically a little stick that you stick into the vein (if you’re using a manual pump) or into the arm (if you have an automatic pump) to get a high-powered injection of medicine. I’m not a big fan of the first option because it feels a little like injecting into your skin instead of directly into the bloodstream.
I’m not a fan of the stick, either, but the stick seems to be an ideal option for injection, especially for those with painful veins or people who have to go through many injections a day. The stick is designed to make it easier to get a really deep needle.
For some people, the stick is the way to go. It is the most common type of pump that comes with a pump-style syringe. It is a little more painful and also requires a needle. Other people may prefer the manual pump because it can’t get all the medicine out at once, but even that is not a bad thing because you can also use it to inject medication that you haven’t taken because you have a medical condition that prevents you from taking them.
Benlysta is designed to be a better syringe for those who prefer manual use. It has a detachable needle, and can also be used to inject medication that you havent taken because you have a medical condition that prevents you from taking it.
